Step into a rewarding part-time opportunity working onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing crucial support to students in a school setting. In this contract position, you'll collaborate with a dedicated SLPA to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, ensuring each receives the targeted interventions they need to thrive.

This role is designed for flexibility: enjoy a three-day workweek with hours from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, and the option to choose which days best fit your schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Skilled in evaluation, assessment, and the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with support staff such as SLPAs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse group of students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment
  • Supervise and guide the onsite SLPA on therapy tasks and student programming
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
