Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable providing both direct and consultative speech therapy services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver therapy services—individual and group—in alignment with IEP goals and best practices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
- Provide support and resources to classroom teachers, parents, and staff to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary assessments, and professional development opportunities
- Stay current on advances in speech-language pathology practice within educational settings
