Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work credential
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of child development, behavioral intervention, and crisis management
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with diverse populations and advocating for student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support social-emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP/504 meetings as needed
- Connect students and families with community resources and services
- Offer crisis intervention and support in high-need situations
- Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements
