Position: Adolescent Clinical Director

Location: West Linn, Oregon

Our organization operates a 14-bed residential treatment facility designed specifically for adolescents battling Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. At our center, we empower young individuals and their families on their journey to complete recovery, equipping them with the tools to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. We offer compassion, education, and support to families, recognizing them as essential partners in the recovery journey. Our goal is to help each adolescent replace harmful behaviors with healthy skills and a profound understanding of their unique identities.

About the Role

We are looking for a Clinical Director to become a vital part of our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the overall clinical excellence of our treatment program. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring high-quality care and continuous improvement of clinical services.
• Managing staffing and budgetary responsibilities.
• Overseeing all aspects of clinical programming to enhance client experiences.

The salary for this position can reach up to $130,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall clinical quality of programming, focusing on continuous improvement, staffing, and fiscal management.
• Provide direct leadership to clinical therapists through mentoring and coaching, assisting them in interactions with insurance providers.
• Model healthy eating behaviors by sharing meals with clients and staff during mealtimes.
• Occasionally conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions.
• Engage in discharge and aftercare planning with the entire treatment team.
• Offer safe, affirming, and empathetic support to diverse populations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health environment is preferred; other leadership experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with admissions, intake processes, Utilization Review, and interactions with third-party payers is essential.
• Experience with Joint Commission and regulatory compliance standards is desirable.
• Ability to manage budgets and utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is preferred.
• Experience in an Eating Disorder program or similar residential behavioral health setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices is beneficial.
• Experience in employee selection and performance management is a plus.
• A Master’s degree in a clinical discipline is required.
• Must possess an active state license or be eligible for licensure.
