General Practice Physician (Full-time)

Opportunity Overview

We are excited to present a position for a Physician at a well-established outpatient Family Medicine practice located in Muskegon, Michigan. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated care team, which includes four Physicians and four Advanced Practice Providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in a procedures-focused outpatient practice, performing skin procedures, joint injections, and other typical Family Medicine tasks.
• Maintain a full-time schedule (1.0 FTE) with 4 to 4.5 clinic days each week.
• Work hours are as follows:
  • Monday to Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
• Participate in shared, unrestricted call, which is rotated among Family Medicine providers in the network, averaging only a few weeknights and weekends per year, along with one rotating holiday.

Qualifications

• Open to both new graduates and experienced candidates.
• Physicians must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within two years of eligibility.
• A valid State of Michigan medical license is required upon employment.
• DEA license is necessary.
• BLS Certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
