School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pendleton, South Carolina

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in grades 6-12 on a full-time contract basis through the academic year, from August 6 to May 25, 2027. In this engaging role, you will make a significant difference by working directly with a diverse group of 40-50 students in a supportive school environment near Pendleton, SC.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field
• Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in a school setting
• Previous experience with adolescent or secondary school populations preferred
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students across a varied caseload
• Support students in grades 6-12 as they work toward communication, language, and speech goals within academic and social contexts
• Maintain therapy records and track progress in line with school and regulatory requirements
• Consult with educators and parents to provide strategies that enhance student learning and engagement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team recommendations for student supports

This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and staff throughout the academic year.
