Job Description
Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level by supporting students in a vibrant school community near Big Lake, MN. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity runs from August 24 to June 2, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact across elementary and select secondary settings.
As a valued SLP, you'll work directly with a caseload of approximately 40-50 students, providing essential services and fostering communication growth in a collaborative, supportive school environment. No virtual options are currently available, so your in-person presence and passion will truly make a difference.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Minnesota SLP license required (please include a screenshot or copy with your application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with both elementary and secondary student populations
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Provide direct therapy services to students as determined by IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
