Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Big Lake, MN

A contract SLP position is available for the upcoming school year with a vibrant educational community near Big Lake, MN. This full-time role spans from August 24th to June 2nd, 2027, and offers a diverse caseload primarily at the elementary level, with some secondary students. With 37.5 hours per week and an average caseload of 40-50 students, you’ll play a crucial role supporting communication and language development while building meaningful relationships across age groups.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota SLP license (please submit a screenshot or copy with your application)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, evaluation, and therapy planning skills
• Effective collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
• Conduct and interpret speech/language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support conferences
• Document progress and maintain student records accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success

This position is onsite only, providing a supportive, engaging environment with dedicated colleagues and administrative staff. While virtual opportunities are not currently available, there may be potential in the future if onsite candidates are not found.
