Job Description
Exciting opportunities await speech-language pathologists seeking to make a difference in the lives of students! A contract SLP position is available for the upcoming school year with a vibrant educational community near Big Lake, MN. This full-time role spans from August 24th to June 2nd, 2027, and offers a diverse caseload primarily at the elementary level, with some secondary students. With 37.5 hours per week and an average caseload of 40-50 students, you’ll play a crucial role supporting communication and language development while building meaningful relationships across age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license (please submit a screenshot or copy with your application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and therapy planning skills
- Effective collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Conduct and interpret speech/language evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and student support conferences
- Document progress and maintain student records accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
This position is onsite only, providing a supportive, engaging environment with dedicated colleagues and administrative staff. While virtual opportunities are not currently available, there may be potential in the future if onsite candidates are not found.
