Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holds an active SLP license in New Jersey (CCC required; cannot accept CF or SLPA candidates)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience and familiarity with public school district operations
  • Skilled in student testing, comprehensive speech/language evaluations, and reporting assessments
  • Ability to independently manage an elementary school caseload
  • Reliable transportation and comfort with local commuting
  • Willingness to complete onboarding requirements: TB screening, physical, fingerprint clearance
  • Able to commit to the full assignment: September 4th through June 25th
  • Ready for a 15-minute interview process

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to elementary students on-site
  • Conduct assessments and ongoing student evaluations to inform and update IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state standards
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
