Job Description
Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Sunnyvale, CA. Three Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to offer hands-on support, conducting assessments and providing specialized services alongside existing school SLPs. Your expertise will bolster high-need sites, making a meaningful difference for K-12 students at the beginning of the school year.
Opportunities Available:
- Position A: One SLP needed from 8/7/2026, continuing until an internal hire is made. This role offers part-time scheduling at Braly Elementary (serving students with moderate to moderate-severe needs) and Briarwood Elementary (serving general education and preschool students). You’ll rotate between locations, working at one campus per day to help alleviate high caseloads and assist with assessments. Hours: 8am–3pm, Monday–Friday.
- Positions B: Two SLPs needed from 8/7/2026 through mid/end of September, supporting Petersen Middle or Santa Clara High. Each caseload serves approximately 40–50 general education students, with variable daily schedules between 8am–3:30pm based on assignment.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP credential (CCC or equivalent) strongly preferred; open to recent graduates with appropriate school experience
- Previous school-based SLP work is highly valued
- Competence in assessment, progress monitoring, and service delivery for K-12 students
- Adaptability to work at multiple sites; willingness to support varying caseloads
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services as assigned
- Conduct assessments and write related reports
- Coordinate with lead SLPs to manage caseloads and meet student needs
- Maintain documentation aligned with school and state standards
