Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to engage children and adolescents
- Enthusiastic approach to facilitating student development and independence
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy services for students across two schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress notes
- Adapt to changing student caseloads and collaborate with educators to integrate therapy with classroom activities
Schedule & Structure:
- Contract position
- Onsite, in-person role
- 16-24 hours weekly, with the possibility of up to 30 hours when required and approved
