In this role, you will manage a caseload of approximately 23 students, primarily at the elementary school level. You’ll be part of a flexible and responsive team, with a workday of 7.5 hours and a typical schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm—adjustable depending on your service delivery requirements. A handful of students are located at neighboring campuses, all within a short distance, allowing for efficient transitions and strong inter-campus support.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Illinois licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on communication, language, articulation, and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Serve multiple sites as needed, with travel limited to nearby buildings
