Empower students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting on a full-time contract basis. Step into a district-wide role based near San Antonio, NM, with a convenient four-day work week (Monday through Thursday, 8AM-4PM). Serve as a resource to multiple campuses, collaborating with staff and families to ensure every student’s voice is heard.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure from the State of New Mexico
- Experience providing SLP services within school settings, including teletherapy and onsite support
- Skilled in assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs for students of all ages
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and travel between multiple sites
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Passion for supporting a diverse student population across Pre-K – 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions, both in-person and virtually, in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement targeted interventions
- Maintain accurate records and progress updates in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
