School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Odenville, Alabama

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication growth at an elementary school setting! This fulfilling contract opportunity is located near Odenville, AL and offers the chance to work directly onsite in a supportive educational environment. You’ll provide speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students from August through the end of May, helping them achieve their communication and academic goals.

Your expertise will shine as you:

• Deliver therapy and assessment services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s individual needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations to help design effective plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Provide guidance on communication strategies and supports within the classroom

Ideal experience and qualifications include:

• SLP State License in the state of Alabama
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• State Educator Certificate
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassion and dedication to helping young learners succeed
