Speech Language Pathologist in Redford, MI

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license, active and in good standing
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience working in school settings, especially with ASD populations, is highly valued
• Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 40–55 students in an ASD program
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
• Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult with educators and families to maximize student outcomes and ensure effective communication strategies
• Remain up-to-date with best practices in school-based speech pathology

This is an onsite, contract-based role, ensuring close connection and collaboration with students and faculty. The schedule follows the academic calendar for the upcoming school year (dates to be determined).
