Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Westfield, Massachusetts
Job Description

A contract position is available for a BCBA/Autism Specialist to work exclusively onsite, providing essential behavioral support across four school campuses close to Westfield, MA, for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a full-time commitment, starting August 24, 2026, through June 12, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification (submission of documentation required)
- Direct school-based BCBA or autism specialist experience, strongly preferred
- Proven ability to perform Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Track record of coaching teachers and paraprofessionals in behavior management strategies
- Experience supporting autism-specific classrooms and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation for inter-site travel among four schools
- Must pass required screening and background investigations
- Commitment to punctuality and proactive communication in case of illness-related absences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality behavioral consultation and coaching for school staff
- Conduct FBAs and create individualized BIPs for students
- Support teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing effective autism strategies
- Partner with teams to optimize classroom environments for students with autism
- Travel between assigned school locations to provide onsite support across campuses
