Position Summary:\nHonorHealth, in partnership with Arizona State Universitys School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Internal Medicine physician to join our residency program as a Core Faculty Member to engage in outpatient clinical care, as well as resident and student teaching opportunities. This role is ideal for a clinician-educator committed to mentoring residents, advancing ambulatory education, and contributing to a collaborative academic environment that values innovation, wellness, and lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities:Educational Leadership\n- \n
- Serve as a core faculty member with a significant role in the education and supervision of internal medicine residents. \n
- Provide direct clinical teaching in the outpatient clinic and participate in didactic sessions, case-based learning, and scholarly activities. \n
- Mentor residents in clinical reasoning, communication, and professional development. \n
- Participate in residency committees such as the Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee. \n

- Contribute to the development and refinement of the ambulatory curriculum in alignment with ACGME requirements. \n
- Support individualized learning plans and remediation strategies for residents. \n
- Assist in recruitment, selection, and evaluation of residents. \n
- Engage in quality improvement and population health activities. \n
- \n
- Maintain an active outpatient internal medicine practice, where clinical time is split between your own panel of patients, and precepting residents/students. \n
- Serve as a role model for residents in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. \n
- Utilize EPIC EHR and Tiger Text for streamlined communication and documentation. \n
- \n
- Engage in scholarly activities including quality improvement, curriculum development, and dissemination of educational innovations. \n
- Support resident scholarly work and participate in faculty development initiatives. \n
- \n
- MD, DO, or MBBS degree with board certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM). \n
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Arizona. \n
- Strong clinical and teaching skills in ambulatory internal medicine. \n
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in outpatient clinical practice or academic medicine, or completion of a chief residency or Faculty Development Fellowship. \n
