Occupational Therapist School Setting in Vista, CA

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. You'll join a collaborative environment and receive the support of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), helping to serve a caseload of approximately 50 students with a variety of needs.

What You’ll Bring:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in California is required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students
• Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Supervise and partner with COTA for effective caseload management
• Attend and participate in team meetings and IEP reviews
• Contribute to the development and implementation of intervention strategies district-wide
