The need is immediate for three distinct roles—candidates are encouraged to specify their preferred assignment as part of the application process.
Choose from one of the following positions:
- Anderson High School: Life Skills classroom (7:20 AM–2:30 PM) supporting approximately 10 students.
- Southview Preschool: Inclusion classroom (8:30 AM–3:30 PM) working with around 10 students—two positions available.
These are rewarding opportunities to foster growth and achievement for students with varying needs in a collaborative school environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid, active Indiana teaching license in Special Education. (Applicants must provide documentation.)
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in classroom settings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members, parents, and related service staff.
- Commitment to creating a supportive, positive atmosphere tailored to diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized educational plans that address student needs.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to provide an inclusive, effective learning experience.
- Accurately monitor progress and document student outcomes.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate support and services.
