Job Description
Inspire young learners as a valued educator in a dynamic PreK classroom supporting English language development. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the early academic experiences of children in a warm, inclusive environment from August 2024 through May 2027.
As a K-2 English as a Second Language teacher, you’ll provide targeted instruction for PreK students, leveraging your knowledge of curriculum planning to foster both language skills and confidence. Collaborate with dedicated staff to implement engaging lessons and support dual language development, all while building lasting connections with students and families.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with ESL and/or Dual Language endorsement(s)
- Experience developing and delivering age-appropriate curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional strategies
- Enthusiasm for working with multilingual learners and supporting diverse student populations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to onsite teaching; virtual options are not available for this role
Key responsibilities include:
