As a Licensed School Nurse, you'll work onsite and serve as a vital member of the district’s health services team. Your knowledge and collaborative approach will help foster a healthy learning environment for students, staff, and families across five schools.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Public Health Nurse license
  • School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching
  • Current CPR and BLS certifications
  • Experience working in school nursing or pediatric health preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites within the district

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive school health services for a diverse student body in an itinerant capacity
  • Develop and implement individualized health care plans
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with families, providers, and district staff
  • Conduct health education and wellness initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with district and state regulations regarding student health
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation across multiple locations
