Job Description

In this full-time itinerant position, your expertise will play a vital role in assessing students’ educational needs, contributing to their academic success, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education or related field
- Active Texas classroom teaching certificate
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience
- Successful completion of the Texas state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Previous school-based experience required
- Ability to complete time-sensitive fingerprinting and credentialing requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students, utilizing a variety of assessment tools and strategies
- Write detailed, professional reports outlining findings and recommendations
- Attend and participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Work iteratively between two assigned schools, serving a diverse population of students (age ranges vary)
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop personalized educational plans and interventions
- Maintain accurate, confidential records, adhering to state and district guidelines
This onsite-only role (VOCO/virtual not available) begins August 10, 2026, and extends through May 21, 2027, offering consistent hours—35 per week, Monday through Friday.
