Gen Ed Teacher - West Chester, PA

Step into an impactful full-time contract opportunity supporting middle school students in a dynamic educational setting near West Chester, PA. This role involves instructing general education math classes onsite, working a consistent 35-hour week from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. The caseload is focused solely on general education students, with special education learners supported by certified SPED teachers.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification or licensure appropriate for middle school math
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) to qualify for an emergency teaching permit
• Demonstrated experience in school settings, with a preference for those who have worked in urban environments
• Mastery of middle school math content and strong instructional abilities
• Skilled in classroom and behavioral management
• Experience developing lesson plans aligned to PA state and district standards, integrating differentiation and formative assessments
• Reliable transportation required for onsite attendance
• Able to fulfill all PA clearance requirements
• Comfortable and adaptable within a district environment with no schedule accommodations; must be able to work between 8:30AM-4PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction to middle school students
• Collaborate with other educators, including SPED staff, to ensure all student needs are met
