Candidates must hold an Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or a comparable credential), and possess a valid Minnesota school psychologist license issued by PELSB. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB)
- Degree at the Education Specialist or Doctoral level in School Psychology or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to deliver evidence-based practices, including assessment, intervention, and mental health support
- Commitment to equity, inclusivity, and culturally relevant practices
- Familiarity with federal and state special education laws
Preferred Background:
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
- Experience within an MTSS framework, consultation, and intervention support
- Knowledge of crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention strategies
- Leadership or facilitation history in supporting adult learners
- Experience working within urban or multicultural educational environments
Role Overview:
- Serve K-12 students during standard school hours (8 am–4 pm)
- Direct consultation, assessment, and interventions on-site (no telepractice)
- Build relationships with diverse school staff, students, and families
- Apply your expertise in mental health and special education to foster student well-being
