We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join a collaborative school district in Houston, Texas for the upcoming school year. Position Details

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
  • Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
  • Develop and implement behavioral interventions and support plans.
  • Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential.
  • Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for supporting student success through data-driven interventions.
