Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Elgin, IL

This flexible, contract opportunity allows you to choose from full-time or part-time arrangements for the 2026-2027 school year, covering communities such as Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, and more in an itinerant capacity.

As a BCBA, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to provide evidence-based behavioral interventions and consultative support across various districts. This engaging position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, develop functional behavior assessments, and help schools shape positive, inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active IDFPR Behavior Analyst Certification (state requirement)
• National BCBA certification through BACB
• Experience supporting K-12 students in school settings
• Comfort providing services across multiple districts as needed
• PEL not required for this position
• Strong communication and consultative skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure consistency and progress
• Support and coach school personnel regarding behavioral strategies and best practices
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven recommendations
• Travel between school sites as needed within the service region
