Job Description
Step into a vital role supporting student success as an onsite School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position focuses on collaborating with high school students, educators, and families to deliver impactful psychological services. The assignment runs full-time, from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers the opportunity to make a long-term difference within a dynamic school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification or licensure for Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting
- Comprehensive understanding of psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students
- Proven ability to complete all required PA clearances
- Background in supporting students in urban environments
- Reliable transportation to meet onsite attendance requirements—five days per week, no remote or hybrid options
- Comfortable with and adaptable to a fast-paced, district-based setting
- Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 7:15AM–2:45PM, with no options for an adjusted schedule
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and counseling for high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Foster supportive relationships with students to promote emotional and academic growth
