Job Description
Step into a pivotal role supporting young learners as a full-time School Psychologist on a contract basis. You’ll work 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, at a welcoming elementary campus, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid state credentials as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of special education processes, assessments, and interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and adapt within a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and interpret results to support individualized education plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop goals and implement interventions
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, review progress, and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Promote a safe, holistic, and supportive school environment
- Contribute expertise to school-wide initiatives for social-emotional learning and positive behavior support
