Take the next step in your career supporting students’ academic and emotional well-being! A school psychologist is needed for a contract position serving Monessen Elementary Center. You’ll join a dedicated educational team to provide essential services to elementary-aged students in a vibrant, supportive environment. This full-time role begins as soon as possible and will continue through June 11, 2027—with an initial focus on covering a maternity leave until January 19, 2027 (subject to change). Should the original staff member return on schedule, your expertise will remain highly valued for the remainder of the school year in a floating capacity, allowing you to handle evaluations, support adult education programs, and provide broad-based psychological services district-wide.
Opportunities are open for part-time professionals (minimum three days per week) as well as those seeking full-time employment.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate is required
- Demonstrated experience providing school-based psychological services to elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with evaluations, report writing, and IEP participation
- Adaptable to manage changing caseloads or assignments throughout the academic year
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering positive educational outcomes
