Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date)
- Previous experience working as an OT in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ functional levels and therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to students addressing fine motor, sensory integration, and functional skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Monitor and report on student outcomes and adjust interventions as needed
