- Experience working within school settings and knowledge of best practices for student-centered therapy
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Competency in managing a diverse caseload while maintaining accurate and compliant documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance communication outcomes for students
- Evaluate student needs through standardized assessments and design therapy plans tailored to each learner
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing data and recommendations for student progress
- Maintain timely records and comply with all state and federal guidelines related to special education services
- Offer consultative support to educators regarding best practices for speech and language development in the classroom
