Here’s an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting young learners! A full-time contract assignment is available in an elementary school setting, providing direct services and guidance to a diverse group of students. This position is perfect for SLPs, whether you are CCC-certified or in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), eager to gain valuable school-based experience.
Located near Mishicot, WI, this role covers a leave from September 26 through January 6, with the possibility of extension should the current SLP not return as planned. You will work onsite with a manageable caseload of 46 elementary students, engaging daily with a supportive educational community.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active SLP license in Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
Experience with school-aged children is beneficial
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students with a range of needs
Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and document progress
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth
Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
Adapt therapy techniques to meet individual and group needs within the school environment
