Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites during the 2026-2027 academic year. From August through June, you'll play an essential role in promoting student success in a dynamic educational setting, providing in-person services to diverse learners.
In this full-time position (Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours weekly), you’ll join a collaborative team, championing communication skills and social development districtwide. Your expertise will help create a positive learning environment for students of all ages.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and staff
- Passion for fostering growth and engagement among diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students across multiple schools
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a broad K-12 caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and comply with district and regulatory requirements
- Provide in-person support and resources to teachers and families, helping integrate therapy into the classroom
