Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Virginia

VocoVision is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for virtual opportunities with school districts across Virginia. Both full-time and part-time openings are available for clinicians interested in providing school-based speech and language services remotely through VocoVision’s teletherapy platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K–12 students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings with school-based teams
  • Complete required documentation, service logs, progress reports, and case-management responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Provide direct and indirect services in accordance with student and district needs
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related qualifying field
  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or Virginia School Speech-Language Pathologist license appropriate for the assigned district
  • Candidates eligible to obtain applicable Virginia licensure may also be considered
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous K–12 school-based experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP development, evaluations, eligibility procedures, and special education documentation
  • Teletherapy or virtual school experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and technology skills
  • Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection
