Classroom Aide | Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to provide essential support as substitute Paras/Education Assistants for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in a contract role. Work directly with students and staff in an engaging, dynamic educational environment near Eden Prairie, MN. As part of a per diem, on-site assignment, you’ll fill in for contractor call-outs, ensuring continuity of care and learning for students throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of college credits from an accredited institution, an associate degree or higher, or a passing score on an approved formal academic assessment (such as ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher)
• Alternatively, meet competencies in the MDE approved grid
• PCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one (quick and free process)
• At least 1 year of experience working with school-aged children in a professional setting required
• Preferred: 2+ years of school-based paraprofessional experience
• Must be comfortable working on-site (no remote work available)

Key Responsibilities:

• Step in as a substitute paraprofessional or educational assistant as needed
• Provide support to teachers and staff, assisting with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
• Help create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
• Collaborate with educators to implement classroom strategies and individual supports
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and student groups
