This onsite position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team and help address the unique needs of a diverse student body. Flexibility is key as the specific caseload and grade levels will be determined based on the district’s needs, so a willingness to work with any grade from early childhood through middle school is essential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • Experience in school-based psychological assessment, counseling, and intervention
  • Capability to support a variety of grade levels within a PreK-8 setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and administrators
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency preferred
  • Commitment to fostering inclusivity and supporting students from various cultural backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to individual students and groups
  • Participate in problem-solving teams, IEP meetings, and collaborate on behavior and academic plans
  • Consult with staff and families to support student mental health, academic achievement, and behavioral needs
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to district and legal requirements
