Occupational Therapist School Setting in Peoria, AZ

Inspire growth and make a real difference in students’ lives as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting PreK-8th grade learners. This contract opportunity, based near Peoria, AZ, spans the academic year with a schedule from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027 (dates subject to change). Work on-site within a welcoming school environment, providing essential OT services that empower students with diverse needs to succeed and thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, valid state Occupational Therapist license (required)
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be present at time of application)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Expertise in delivering OT services to children and adolescents, particularly in PreK-8th grade
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet a wide range of student abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of PreK-8th grade students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all school, district, and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize evidence-based practices while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
