Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students by providing expert speech-language pathology services in a supportive school environment near Kansas City, MO. Work onsite in an engaging educational setting where you’ll collaborate with both experienced professionals and an SLP Assistant to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications/Desired Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Missouri SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Ability to case manage a diverse elementary caseload
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Case manage approximately 21 students, with a total service provider count of 76 (including those you case manage)
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with an onsite SLP Assistant, providing guidance and collaborating with another in-house SLP for oversight
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning for students
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes each student’s growth and success
