Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Amherst, Massachusetts

Make a significant impact in the lives of students with autism by providing specialized behavioral expertise during the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to work collaboratively across four diverse school sites, supporting both students and educational staff.

In this position, you’ll be at the forefront of behavioral consultation, applying evidence-based practices to enhance learning and social outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop targeted Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), coach classroom staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students with autism receive the support they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active BCBA certification (documentation required with application)
• Experience in school-based BCBA or Autism Specialist roles strongly preferred
• Proficiency in conducting FBAs and writing BIPs
• Record of coaching teachers and paraprofessionals in behavior strategy implementation
• Demonstrated ability to support autism classrooms and work as part of a collaborative team
• Must have reliable transportation for travel between four school locations
• Ability to consistently arrive and depart on time and communicate efficiently regarding any absences
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and fingerprinting/background checks

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral consultation and support for students and staff across multiple school settings
• Complete FBAs and develop BIPs tailored to individual student needs
• Train and support teachers and paraprofessionals in evidence-based practices
• Work closely with school teams to foster communication and consistency
• Ensure compliance with all district policies and professional standards
