Ideal candidates will have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and a passion for helping children reach their full communication potential. You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families in a welcoming school environment focused on growth and achievement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Current and active SLP-CCC certification
- State licensure as required for SLP practice
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive rapport with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable providing services for diverse caseloads in both group and individual settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services
- Integrate therapeutic goals with classroom objectives and collaborate with teachers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough documentation
- Communicate progress with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student, supporting them both in and out of the classroom
