Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred, particularly with students with developmental disabilities or autism
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with a range of developmental disabilities and autism
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals, tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of progress and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for communication needs
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy, prioritizing evidence-based practices
