What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfort working with elementary populations, with flexibility to support other age groups as needed
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to create and implement effective therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Excellent organization and adaptability to manage a 37.5-hour workweek
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility and plan interventions
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and document services according to district and legal standards
- Communicate openly with families and staff to maximize student success
- Support students at multiple grade levels as needed during this period of multiple leaves
