Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a supportive school-based team near League City, TX. This in-person role delivers services to around 60 students across a dynamic educational environment, serving a variety of programs including walk-in speech, an ECSE classroom, a school-age self-contained classroom, and an Autism support program. Not all students within each of these programs receive speech services, allowing for a diverse and manageable caseload.

With a workweek of 37.5 hours, you’ll benefit from dedicated mentorship—both from an on-site mentor SLP and the Lead SLP—ensuring you’re supported whether you’re in your Clinical Fellowship Year or already hold your CCCs. Collaborate closely with an exceptional evaluation team, including an ARD Facilitator, Diagnostician, and School Psychologist. Importantly, the ARD Facilitator will manage all transfer events and annual speech ARDs.

This assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through May 28, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar (students begin August 19, 2026).

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Texas SLP license or eligibility
  • CCC-SLP, eligibility for Clinical Fellowship, or equivalent experience in schools/pediatrics
  • Experience or interest in working with early childhood to school-aged populations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to in-person school-based service delivery

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech/language screenings and evaluations
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Participating in ARD meetings as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Supporting communication needs for various classroom environments
