Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a closely related field
  • Valid SLPA license or eligible for credentialing as required in California
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly desirable
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Skilled in maintaining detailed documentation and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement individualized treatment plans designed to address students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Track and record student progress, preparing concise reports for IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams
  • Partner with teachers and staff to foster inclusive classroom experiences
  • Support parent communication regarding therapy outcomes and strategies for continued progress at home
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate records in compliance with educational and legal standards
