\n About this role \n

Job Summary \n

Reporting to the Radiology Nurse Supervisor, the Radiology Staff Nurse will provide quality-nursing care to both in and out patients in the department or radiology including pediatric, adult, elderly, acutely and chronically ill/patients. The Radiology Nurse must be prepared to handle all unexpected emergencies that occur during any radiological procedure. The nurse ensures patient privacy, dignity, and safety. \n

Minimum Qualifications \n

• Education \n

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  \n
\n
• Experience \n
  \n
  • 3 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
  \n
  • Critical care experience required.
  \n
\n
• Licensure and/or Certification \n
  \n
  • Current license as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required.
  \n
  • BLS healthcare provider required.
  \n
  • ACLS required.
  \n
  • PALS required.
  \n
\n
• Skills \n
  \n
  • Has knowledge of all areas of nursing practice.
  \n
  • Demonstrates mature judgment, initiative, and proficiency in nursing skills.
  \n
  • Is able to work without direct supervision.
  \n
  • Shows professional interest through self-development, continuing education, and involvement in professional organizations.
  \n
  • Is knowledgeable in physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions.
  \n
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  \n
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  \n
  • Computer skills required.
  \n
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  \n
