The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-volume electromechanical assembly, use of hand and power tools, and quality control and a proven ability to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and electrical schematics to produce high-quality portable power distribution products.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand job orders and interact with Epicor to execute work as scheduled.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow Standard Operating Procedures to manufacture products safely and accurately.
  • Complete and maintain required production documentation, including daily reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, and data entry in Epicor.
  • Assemble high-quality portable power distribution boxes in a high-volume environment.
  • Use and maintain hand and power tools to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
  • Perform quality control checks and inspections to verify products meet specifications.
  • Adhere to PPE requirements and all safety policies.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with electromechanical assembly exposure.
  • Ability to read instructions, operate machines safely, and visually inspect parts.
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools; good hand dexterity and grip strength.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in completing assignments; ability to perform simple mathematics for counts and documentation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, bending, and reaching.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test; adherence to PPE for eyes, hands, feet, and hearing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical secondary education or equivalent training.
  • Basic computer skills with accurate data entry; experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly; ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask; collaborative in cross-functional environments.
  • Analytical problem solver; self-motivated with initiative and follow-through.
