School Psychologist – Philadelphia, PA
This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support PreK through 12th-grade students at a school located in Philadelphia, PA. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek spread over five days, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. The role is ideal for professionals skilled in child studies, counseling, and conducting assessments, and is open to new graduates eager to start their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychological services including evaluations and assessments for students from PreK to 12th grade
Conduct counseling sessions to support students' emotional and behavioral needs
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Assist in child study team meetings to determine appropriate interventions and supports
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies
Desired Qualifications:
Degree in School Psychology or related field
Ability to perform assessments and counseling effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
