You’ll primarily focus on completing initial and re-evaluations—particularly two slated for spring—alongside assessments for a few incoming kindergarteners. With about 100 students receiving special education services, your expertise will have a meaningful impact and offer the chance for more personalized professional relationships.

Key Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a school psychologist in Minnesota
• Sufficient liability insurance meeting 1099 contractor requirements
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, ideally in a virtual or remote capacity
• Proficient in conducting virtual assessments and managing confidential information securely
• Strong communication skills and comfort with remote collaboration tools

Responsibilities:

• Complete virtual initial and re-evaluations, ensuring compliance with district and state standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists
• Document findings and provide clear recommendations for student support services
• Communicate evaluation results to families and staff sensitively and professionally
