Occupational Therapist School Setting - Riverside, CA

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites near Riverside, CA as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the 2027 school year, offering the chance to make a profound impact over a long-term assignment.

In this position, you’ll deliver OT services within a cross-categorical setting, working with diverse age groups and adapting to itinerant schedules. This full-time opportunity provides 40 hours each week across 5 days, allowing for deep engagement with students and collaboration with educational teams.

Qualifications:

• Active OT license required
• Previous experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
• Proficiency supporting varied student needs across different school sites
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultations for students across multiple sites
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ goals and IEPs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student support
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between assigned schools to meet the needs of a cross-categorical caseload
