Pharmacist - Antioch, Tennessee

A mail-order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking experienced Pharmacists to join their team on a contract basis. This role requires a dedicated professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and is committed to accuracy and excellent patient care. With approximately 1000 prescriptions filled daily, your expertise will be critical to ensuring each medication meets quality standards before reaching patients.

Shifts Available:

• 2 positions for 2nd shift: 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 1 position for 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Conduct final verification processes, ensuring accuracy of medication labeling and prescription information
• Verify that medication in bottles/boxes matches prescription details and directions
• Use the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system to manage prescription workflows
• Maintain strict attention to detail in a fast-paced, mail-order pharmacy environment
• No on-call duties required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong commitment to accuracy and patient safety
• Positive attitude and willingness to excel in a temp-only role
• Ability to start immediately and quickly adapt to pharmacy systems and processes
